Anton von Apolda is a handsome 2-3 year old German Shepherd whose alias should be Velcro, because he wants to be your devoted sidekick wherever you go. This very special guy is house-trained, super-smart and playful. Anton loves other dogs -- from small to large – so another dog in his home is a pre-requisite. If you’re a serious walker or hanker to hike, you’ll have the perfect companion. Like many shepherds, Anton is a cool dude who prefers to approach people in his own good time; he is not one to be hugged and fawned over. He is protective in his home and would need to have slow introductions with new people. This fellow will thrive in a calm environment where his owner is home most of the time and appreciates the loyalty of a handsome canine companion.
